I have to say I love when a rom-com has an action side to it to make me feel less guilty when I “ask” my husband to watch it with me. The film is actually really cute, I mean what movie with Reese Witherspoon isn’t adorable? Chris Pine and Tom Hardy have a great relationship on screen as well, they definitely bring a lot of laugh out loud moments throughout the film.
This is one of those movies that makes a perfect stay home date night. Like I said before, you there is enough action and “secret ops” talk to keep the guys interested and enough Witherspoon rom-com goodness for us ladies. Plus, if you like Chelsea Handler as much as I do, you’ll love every single moment she is in the film.
The bonus features are pretty great, too. We watched both alternate endings, Scott likes alternate #2 and I just like the original ending. On the DVD we only had the deleted scenes as an additional bonus feature and two of the alternate endings (not the warehouse one).
