Need a fast, breakfast or easy dessert? Gather the kids and try this. It is awesome with fresh or frozen blueberries.

Melt a stick of butter in the microwave

Then quarter some pre-made biscuits, I like to use Pillsbury Grands Biscuits.

Then mix some sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow dish.

Next take a biscuit piece and dip it in the butter.

Then, roll it in the sugar and cinnamon

Roll it real good.

Now take the sugar biscuit pieces and press into a greased 9×9 baking pan.
Then pour the blueberries over the biscuits.

Once the berries are in place, sprinkle the oatmeal over them and pour the remaining butter over the oatmeal.
Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes and
Enjoy!

Blueberry Coffee Cake

1 can Pillsberry Grands Biscuits
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup Quick Cooking Oats

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cut biscuits into quarters.
Melt better in the microwave.
Mix sugar and cinnamon together.

Next, set up and assembly line.
This the part where the kids come in.
Take one piece of a biscuit and dip in in the butter,
then roll it in the sugar and cinnamon, then place it in a 9×9 greased baking dish.

Let the kids continue this until all the biscuits are rolled in the sugar and placed in the pan.
Sprinkle the blueberries over the biscuits and then sprinkle the oatmeal over the berries.
Next take the left over butter and pour it over the oatmeal.
Bake for 30 minutes or until biscuits are done.

Serve as is or to make it even more delicious, top with some vanilla ice cream. Or if using this for a brunch, serve it with whipped cream, grab some coffee and enjoy.
