New Year Craft for Kids: Cute Headband

Can you believe that holiday celebrations are almost over? They seemed to just fly by. Now we gear up to welcome in the new year. Here’s a fun New Year Craft craft for kids you can make to get ready to ring in the new year.
Step 1: Cover the numbers for your New Year craft with white glue using a paint brush.
Step 2: Place the glue covered numbers onto the glitter to coat and enjoy playing with sparkles!
Step 3: Set aside to dry. Repeat on the reverse side if you like.
Step 4: (Adults will need to complete this step). Using hot glue attach each of the numbers to the headband.
As you can see, this is a very easy project and the combinations to make unique New Year headband for kids are endless! Feel free to get colored headbands to begin with and to play with different glitter colors.
If you have expert in-house artists or are looking to keep the kids busy for longer, you can make this New Year craft for kids a bit more challenging as well. Just ask them to apply a gradient technique to the numbers (you’ll need several colors for this) or to paint the headband.
I hope you have fun making this and of course, have a very happy New Year.
Happy crafting!
